We are Give A Dog A Home – Malaga

GADAH Málaga is a small dog rescue group founded by 3 friends (Dawn, Sarah and Clair) in 2013.

The team has changed throughout the years with Dawn and Sarah remaining, currently the team is made up of Dawn, Sarah, Lily, and Cathy. For many years they have been helping abandoned, neglected and abused dogs. The first step is to bring the dogs to safety at a local residence where they get their initial care and assessment. All dogs receive blood tests taken by participating vets and health permitting get spayed. The next step is to find them foster homes as soon as possible to discover more about the dog, find out its character, behaviours, quirks and needs.

The final and best step is adoption and this is where you come in! Some dogs will be adopted straight from the residence and some from their foster family, we try our best to make sure that all rehoming is a success and we are happy to provide any follow up support.

We have a network of foster carers and have links with local kennels and vets to ensure all the dogs in our care get the best treatment before moving on to their forever homes in Spain and the rest of Europe. This valuable work cannot be done without donations.
